I helmed a weekly newsletter, introducing major redesigns and improving open rates from 10-15% to 40-45% open rates in one year.

Out with the Old

This February 2020 send used the traditional newsletter design that Tailwind had been operating with.

In with the new

In this design iteration, we created section breaks and added more visuals, including GIFs. We also linked more blog material and resources around specific goals or themes of the newsletter.

The Final Iteration

Our latest iteration included a redesign of one hero story, a blog post roundup of the latest pieces, and sections to feature content from different channels. We’ve included images from our social media feed, our latest podcast episodes, and also Youtube, driving traffic to channels that didn’t traditionally receive them before.
